Ambient Sound and Landscaping.

above you can see that I have made a wind sound in Soundation. I did this by stating off with the Noiser which makes white-sound. I then manipulated it to make it sound more like the wind with the cutoff tool. Then I used the filter cutoff tool to make it have more or less cutoff to make the illusion that the wind is getting stronger and weaker. I then moved it into unreal and turned it into an ambient and mixed two wind sounds together to make it seem like its random. You can also see that I have used the landscape tool to make the grown, hills and even an ocean.

Making decals.

I have also made a decal in Unreal today. I did this by getting my basic decal. Then I moved it into the Unreal engine. After this, I then made it into a material and made it translation, placed it on the wall and ran the game.

Making materials

Today we have made a few materials in photoshop. We did this by getting a picture of a forest floor with leafs on the ground.  After getting this image I then used the magic tool to select certain parts of the leafs and made a custom brush with them.  I then used the custom brushes to build up a camo material and then put it in Unreal.

Playing Around in Unreal

Today we have been playing around with the Unreal 4 engine. We were using the geometry tool to build a game boy. You can see some screenshots here: after I constructed the game boy I placed it in the 1st person premade project, I continued to make a maze in the world. After this, I decided I wanted to make a door that the player had to open by going through the maze. I did this by adding a trigger box and using this code with a cinematic to open the door. This also makes an audio queue go off to make the player aware of where the game boy is.
